About Zach’s story,
The Glass Tree at the Edge of the Wood
“When the gods plant a Glass Tree at the edge of the Withering Wood, it’s a race among mortals to see who can reach the tree first. And Rylan, still grieving the loss of his little sister, must be the one if he’s to gain the gift of healing from the Tree.
But a complication arises when he crosses paths with Emie, a teenage girl who’s after the tree to gain the approval of her family. Seeing both himself and his sister in her, Rylan lets Emie tag along as they seek the Tree. But in the end, only one can receive the blessing from the gods.”
